With the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic, more and more people are concerned about their safety and the safety of their families. Additionally, as variants of COVID-19 are increasing, it’s important to think about what safety measures should be taken. COVID-19 Variants Present A Challenge
In late May and early June of this year, many places in the United States removed the mask mandate. A lot of states also removed many physical distancing guidelines. But as different variants of COVID-19 have emerged, many places are returning to implementing masks and other physical distancing guidelines.
“But is COVID-19 really on the rise?” You might be wondering.
The answer is, “Yes.” According to Reuters, a leading news agency, the rate of COVID-19 has reached a 6-month high. This is especially true in places like Florida and other parts of the country where there are low vaccination rates. What this means is that getting vaccinated is a huge way of decreasing the percentage of people who get this illness. Additionally, as new vaccines are being approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, there are more ways of staying safe. These ways of staying safe are also effective. We’ll say more about this later in this article.
3 Things You Can Do To Protect Yourself and Others
In order to protect yourself and others, here are 4 things that you can do. Keep in mind that as a staffing agency, we want to limit the spread of COVID-19 by encouraging you and others to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Preventions recommendations. That being said, here are some things that you should do to limit the spread of this illness.
1. You should consider wearing a mask
Earlier last year and until May/June of this year, most people were required to wear masks in many public places. However, as restrictions loosened up, the emergence of new strains of COVID-19 have presented different challenges. If you’re not willing to get a vaccine, or if you have gotten a vaccine, please consider wearing a mask so that you’re keeping you and others safe. Safety matters.
2. You should follow physical distancing guidelines
Even if you don’t see signs mentioning staying 6 feet apart in public spaces, you should still consider following physical distancing guidelines. The guidelines can save lives. Other guidelines related to handwashing and hygiene should also be maintained. This is especially true if you are on the job since many workplaces involve contact with other people.
3. You should get consider getting a vaccine
Getting a vaccine should not be seen as something that’s controversial. Vaccines that curb COVID-19 cases are there to help you and others stay safe. Rather than it being something that is seen as difficult or life threatening, it should be seen as something that can save lives. Keep in mind that at All Trades Staffing Service LLC, we’re aware of how COVID-19 has affected many people since we help people with employment. We want to make sure that you and others are safe and healthy.
